Tascam DP-008 – portable recording studio

The most useful hardware for me.

Tascam DP-008  is available for many years but it is still the main workhorse of my home recording gear. It is really very small and portable but the most useful feature is that with this you are ready to record in 2 minutes. Also the sound quality of the records is better than that of all computer interfaces I have used. DP-008 can only record in 44100Hz which is just enough but noise to signal ratio is so low!!!

The device has 2 built-in very good condenser microphones  and 2 XLR and 2 1/4″ line inputs. It can record 2 tracks at the same time. So you can record 2 guitars if you play with some one or make a stereo recoding. Using the buil-in microphones I have made some really good stereo record of acoustic instruments.

You can mix and edit 8 tracks and export/import WAV files via USB. THe price low  about 220$
